Collaboration Design Workshop

Workshop Idea

In this 3-day workshop, we plan to solve scientific and design problems through the collaboration between researchers from diverse background. The topics include:

• Bio-inspired architecture and robotics design
• Novel fabrication techniques self-assembly and self-folding systems
• Understanding and reproducing natural patterns through computation and experiments

The main objective is to start international and interdisciplinary collaboration. The output of the workshop may include co-authored papers, design projects, and international grant proposals.

Participation

The workshop is closed within the participants, and the participants need to follow ethical rules to carefully treat shared open problems. Please contact Tomohiro Tachi [tachi at idea.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp] if you are interested to join.
