Structural Origami Gathering (2017 -)

Structural Origami Gathering (SOG) is a researchers' network and a collaborative workshop series for structural origami and other art-inspired structures. Initiated by Rupert Maleczek and Tomohiro Tachi, SOGs happens annually since 2017. We collaboratively share, solve and create scientific, engineering, design, math, and computational problems in origami, which leads to further collaborations for research or design projects. The workshop is also a part of the IASS Structural Morphology Group (WG15) activity. The workshop is invitation-based.
